I have to admit, before I made the jump to being a full-time freelancer I definitely underestimated the amount of time I would be working each day. My life has pretty much turned in to a 24/7 grind of design and illustration work which has definitely helped me understand the importance of sitting back to take a breather every so often to keep things fresh.

I think these deep sea scuba diver helmet/hats are totally rad. When I was younger I used to draw these helmets and ninja turtles all the time, sometimes I even drew ninja turtles with these helmets on, does it get any better? I'm thinking not.
12/12: 12/12: I Got Next
I miss the days of the arcades. I still remember waiting in line to play Street Fighter 2 and Ninja Turtles with a pocket full of quarters. Today everything is played online at home which is definitely more convenient... but I still really miss the atmosphere of the arcades.

12/07: 12/7: Nervous On Planes
It's amazing that I am still nervous on planes despite flying pretty often. I sketched this idea up while I was on a plane because the only thing I could think of was being scared for my life, haha (I laugh now, while I'm safe on the ground). While I'm in the air and in turbulance I always try to think about some old statistic that I heard of, and how it's much more dangerous to drive a car... yet it never seems to ease me all that much. Turbulence will never get old.
