Typically I keep politics out of my art, but this is one area I am very passionate and I couldn't help but be inspired by so many people fighting for the freedom to marry whomever we want! If you aren't familiar, Minnesota will be voting today on whether or not it should limit the status of marriage to opposite sex couples. If I were able to vote in Minnesota, I would absolutely VOTE NO. I believe moral issues have no place in the constitution, why would we add an amendment that virtually promotes discrimination? This is something we as a society will look back on 20-30 years from now and probably hold in the same regard as civil rights or racial equality. Why do people take issue with gay marriage, I just don't get it? I can't tell you what to do, but you know where I stand.
